Coronavirius COVID-19 Statement

Children’s Orthotics and Prosthetics is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for our staff members and our patients during this time. We feel that we have a responsibility to our families to remain open to see patients and continue to provide the same quality of care that we have been providing to families since our opening.

• Children’s Orthotics and Prosthetics will continue to remain open.  

• We are offering access to a patient room with separate access for those who are immune-compromised or are not comfortable in the waiting room.

• We have telehealth options available for those who need it.

• Our staff are taking preventative measures recommended by the CDC.

• We will continue to schedule appointments with zero or minimal wait times. Patients are being taken into exam rooms immediately to reduce the time spent near others. New patients are doing paperwork in exam rooms and new cranial patient paperwork can be found here and all other new patient paperwork can be found here.

• We have been adhering to the same rigorous cleaning, out lined of our facility as always, plus we’ve added additional measures to minimize any chance of exposure. We use hospital grade disinfectant on all non-porous surfaces daily, including toys and books. In the event a parent or patient comes in with minor symptoms, we immediately wipe that room down after their visit.

• If you or your child are sick, please call first and let us know. We can utilize the separate access patient room, and when possible, we can meet you at your vehicle to do adjustments.

• We understand that many of our families are facing difficult financial challenges, and while insurance covers most things, we have payment plans and ancillary funding options for those who need it. We’re here to help.

• We sincerely thank our staff for all of their hard work in accommodating everyone during this period of uncertainty.  We are all working diligently to provide the best pediatric orthotic and prosthetic care for your children.
